Christmas in Dallas

We drove to Dallas for Christmas to visit Brian's sister Lisa's family.  Here's the kids decorating some cookies.  We then drove around and found a few houses that had outdoor Christmas lights displays we liked and we placed a plate of these cookies on their porch, rang the doorbell, and ran.  The cookies had a note to thank them for their beautiful light display.

Here's Gunnar and Lucas.  Gunnar sure enjoyed this activity.

Ah, boys and fire...

The traditional nativity scene on Christmas eve.

Here's the kids patiently waiting at the top of the stairs on Christmas morning.  It's a Stubbs' tradition to wait for Dad to go downstairs first and get the camera rolling to record their excitement as they come down the stairs to find Santa's gifts.

Here's the start of the mayhem.

Travis was excited to get this present from his brothers, a remote control truck that shoots air soft BBs.

Here's Travis' haul, too many toys!

And Lucas' haul...

And finally Marcus' haul.

The kids went out to a park with Brian to do some geocaching.  Natalya wanted to get a photo of this swan with her new tablet.

We also had a silly string war at the park.

Here's video of the kids coming down the stairs and seeing Santa's gifts.  Funny that Marcus seemed most excited about the candy in his stocking!

Here's a video of Travis enjoying his big two toys, an RC truck that shoots BBs and an RC helicopter.
