Our 4th of July was going to be a fireworks less day due to the extreme fire conditions, etc. all around the state. In the morning we went to a children's parade put on by a nearby ward. Our kids enjoyed riding their scooters among the masses.
Then around 6 pm it started raining pretty good and wasn't showing signs of stopping. We were planning to drive to Santa Fe to watch the only fireworks show in town there but figured it would get rained out. So we stopped at a fireworks shack and bought some sparklers and went back home to do sparklers in the rain (no danger by any means).
Marcus sure enjoyed them.
