So here are some photos from our first couple days in Paris. Brian had to attend his conference during the day so there wasn't tons of time for touring, but we did get some in. Angela did some touring and shopping on her own. Here's Angela "touching" the top of the pyramid at the Louvre Museum.

There were many headless statues in the museum. I guess when a civilization takes over another one by war, they typically "rub it in" by beheading all of their statues and history. So Angela decided to get a funny picture taken.

Here's Angela on the bride between the Grand and Petit Palaces and the Hotel des Invalides. You can see the Hotel des Invalades in the background (it's the Army Museum where Napolean's tomb is located).

Here's Angela standing in front of a large fountain at the Place de la Concorde. That's the Eiffel Tower in the background on the right.

Here's the Eiffel Tower at dusk when they light it up with blue lighting. We were at the Arc de Triomphe which you can see part of on the right.
