Day 3 in Paris

Day 3 was a shorter day at the conference for Brian. It was the final day of the conference and it was the 4th of July. So we started the afternoon at Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart). It's the highest point in Paris (even above the Eiffel Tower). You climb up a lot of steps to get to it. Nearby there's great and cheap souvenir shopping. Nearby is also the Moulin Rouge.

There are many specialty shops throughout France, such as bread shops, pastry shops, fruit markets, meat markets, cheeze markets, chocolate shops, etc. Here's Angela at a Boulanger (bread shop).

We then went to the Eiffel Tower to go up it. Before we did so we took some photos of it from a far. We had to get one of these photos, being the Eiffel Tower and the City of Love and all.

We went to the very top of the tower. Here's one of the views from the top out over the city at night. You can see the Seine River on the lower left.

Here's Angela on the first level of the tower in front of one of the tower's restaurants.

We rode some elevators and took some stairs to get down. Here's a fun photo from the bottom of the tower looking up into it.

And here's the tower from a far again at around midnight.
