Marcus turned 4 last month. He has been big into Despictable Me and wanted a minion themed party. So Angela went to town with the minion theme. He had a minion cake, hats, decorations, and a pinata.
He had three of his friends over for his party. This was his first time having a friend party.
They played a water squirter game where they had to knock over a little alien ship (like Gru does in the first movie for the youngest girl, Agnes to get the fluffy unicorn).
Later they made cookie robots (not boogie robots).
And later they took a swing at "Kevin" (one of the one-eyed minions) pinata. Travis had to come through with the lethal blow to get the candy.
Marcus got lots of cool gifts (he even liked the clothes his grandparents sent him) but this one had to be his favorite.
Here's Marcus and his brothers enjoying Marcus' new hot wheels track. It really zips those cars around. We have to admit that it was cool to see Marcus' older brothers with some envy for a toy that belonged to Marcus for a change.
