So soccer season recently ended for Travis and Lucas. I think they both had a good time playing. Travis seems to be quite defensively inclined and he greatly improved throughout the season.
Lucas has an amazing determination when he plays. He's the kid that runs back on defense and takes the ball away from the other team. His coaches call him the wall since nobody can get past him.
He also goes on these offensive breakaways and ends up scoring quite a few goals. In his first game of the season he scored 4 goals and in one later game he scored 7 or 8. On average he scored like 3 or 4 per game. We overheard some dads from one opposing team remark "that's kid's their ringer", referring to Lucas. It's not that he's older than the other kids, it's more just that he's determined and apparently fearless. Here's one of his scoring breakaways that we got on video. It's quite fun to watch him play.
