Watching Conference in the Tent

For family home evening this week we taught the boys about King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon who taught his people the gospel from a tower. All his people sat in their tents and listened to their king. We taught about how the prophets in our day will be speaking to us on the TV and that we can setup our tent to listen. The boys were all over this idea. Here they are enjoying their toys in the tent (who knows if they're listening).

The tent is a brilliant idea! We'll have to try that next April!

Hey there!! I totally found your blog from Jenny's (I hope you don't mind . . .)

I love the tent idea. What a great way to make the scriptures come alive for the kids!

You have such a cute family! I will have to read back to see what you have been up to over the past few years. My blog is private so just send me an email if you want an invite: djhallfamily@yahoo.com
