Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

We took a vacation over this past weekend and made a few stops on our way to Frisco Texas to visit Brian's sister Lisa's family. Our first stop was in Albuquerque to see some of the hot air balloons. Every year in October Albuquerque does a huge hot air balloon fiesta. We didn't stay long, but we did drive to a mall parking lot to see a balloon come down to exchange balloon riders.

We then saw a ladybug balloon as they took it down to pack it away.

We went down and watched that really early one morning 2 weeks before Cameron was born. While it wasn't the most comfortable experience, it was really incredible to see all those balloons taking off and not hitting each other. The breakfast burritos with the fresh roasted green chiles can't be beat either.

very cool road trip guys! I want to go now to visit all of those places! Our neighbors went to the balloon fest and said it was incredible! Maybe next year we'll hitch a ride and can meet up! :) I can't wait to see your bangs Angela!
