Birthday Party for Travis

We had Travis' birthday party with some friends today at a park near our house.

Dad and his little helper cooking the hamburgers. It was very windy today!!! It started out at like 72 degrees but ended in the 50's with a fierce wind blowing and rain threatening to start.

We had a number of Travis' friends come. He really enjoyed himself.

Brian made a semi truck pinata for all the kids to hit. Here's Lucas wondering where the truck went.

Here's our slugger Travis taking a swing at it. This pinata was a capri sun box with the walls cut out to make it weaker. It wasn't quite weak enough, but the kids enjoyed it.

Here's Lucas going down the rollers slide. This is one of the coolest slides we've seen. It's a bunch of rollers that spin as you go down. Lucas likes to go by himself and have his voice jitter as he goes down. He's in his fireman jacket.
