Sorry for the delay in posting something new. Brian is applying for jobs right now and is in the middle of interviews. Needless to say it has a been a bit more stressful around here lately. And seeing as how Brian is the one who posts content to this blog, well let's just say he's been a bit busy. However, we have had many opportunities to have lots of fun. Here is Travis and the next photo is Lucas as they crawl around the couch chasing each other. It's become almost a nightly ritual. They both have lots of fun until inevitably Lucas gets hurt (that doesn't stop him from playing the next night).

As a family we went and fed the ducks at the pond in the center of town. These ducks stay here year round (despite the ice that nearly freezes the pond over, well it would freeze over if it weren't for the fountain they run year round). You can see the last patch of ice on the water. Today these ducks were out sun bathing on the lawn. These two are the most vocal of the bunch. We enjoy feeding them. Lucas is sometimes a little too brave!

Speaking of bravery, Lucas lately LOVES to slide down the slide by himself. He laughs and laughs and wants to keep doing it.

Tonight we went geocaching in a nearby town. This view was incredible! The photo doesn't do it enough justice. By the way, this cache was our 100th geocache we have found, including finds in California, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, and New Mexico (in that order). You wouldn't guess that Angela is actually quite sick from this picture. Angela's a trooper and toughs it out so the family can have fun together. Travis is sick too, but somehow Dad and Lucas have steered clear so far.

Here's daddy and Lucas enjoying the view. Well really, we're not so sure Lucas enjoyed the view, he just wanted to get down and follow brother.

After a couple successful geocache finds, we stopped to enjoy some powered doughnuts before driving home.

I love going to Ashley Pond to feed the ducks! Someday, we'll have to try geocaching. It sounds like you guys have a lot of fun doing it!
