Big Day for Geocaching

Brian took the boys geocaching after getting home from work on Thursday night. While we were out, Travis was running with his hands in his pockets and fell down. His nose got roughed up pretty good. This photo was taken two days later. He's makes faces at me here.

On Saturday Brian took the boys geocaching again. Here was one at Camel Rock, a rest stop off the highway.

We then went to a sculpture garden and this was all Travis wanted to do.

"Wow, that thing is tall," says Lucas.

"Run away!" (He actually did when he looked at it.)

Another cache site. This is a bugs eye view.

In the evening, Brian went out geocaching again with his friend Alex. We saw some fabulous views to say the least. This was a 2 mile hike each way along a long narrow mesa top.

Another wonderful view.

It was sunset when we reached the cache at the end of the mesa. I love this photo.

So this morning Brian and the boys found 10 geocaches on the way to Santa Fe and in Santa Fe. In the evening, Brian and Alex found 4 more. Thus we found 14 total today. The previous record for the most finds in one day for us was 5. If you haven't tried geocaching, you don't know what you're missing (www.geocaching.com).

Nice pictures! 14 is very impressive, but you shouldn't forget number 15 at the Tennis Courts, even though you had already found it. I had 9 yesterday, which was over 1/4 of my total geocaches found. It was a lot of fun!
