This video is of a phone conversation Travis had with his Aunt Marci (Brian's sister). It's quite funny. "See Marci, look at this!."
Well our little Travis isn't so little anymore. He's making some big adjustments in his life. He's talking so much more and making much more sense when he talks. He's just started Sunbeams class in church, and having no problems with it so far. Last Sunday, he got to go up to the front to hold signs up to tell all the kids how to sing and he kept flipping the signs up and down so fast that the kids couldn't keep up. He also gave the prayer in Sunbeams' class and did very well. Apparently his prayer went rather long apparently. You see, when Travis prays, he prays about everything, especially all sorts of details about his toys. Travis doesn't sing the songs during sharing time, but he sure sings them at home. One afternoon while driving his trains around he sang "lead me, guide me, walk beside me..." Here's a video of Angela getting him to sing.
Travis is also learning to not suck his fingers anymore, which has been tough. He also has had to leave all his 5 blankies on his bed at all times. The biggest new thing for Travis is potty training. We have tried many times before. At one point, we worked on it for about 2 weeks and gave up. Travis is very stubborn. If he doesn't want to do something, it's very hard to get him to. Travis has been unbelievably hard to potty train. He screams and kicks and hits you while you hold him down on the potty till he goes. But, for whatever reason, this time it has worked. We started on a 4 day weekend, this past one. He has done very well. We don't have to hold him down and sometimes he has gone upstairs and gone all by himself. We still have a few more challenges with this left, but things are looking very good. Below is his potty chart. When he fills the chart with stickers he gets a Mac Car Carrier which he has wanted badly (Mac from the movie Cars).
