While I was growing up, my sisters and I developed this game to pass the time on long trips in the car. We would watch the cars going either the opposite direction as us, or the cars passing us (or the cars we'd pass if mom was driving :-) ). We would say "that's so and so's car" and go down the family in age order. For example, the first car would be Dad's car, the second Mom's car, the third Stacy's car and so on and then repeat again every 6 cars. We played this game with Sterling and Angela in the car once and they just rolled their eyes. It's really quite funny though. For some reason it seemed like Mom always got the livestock trucks and I always got vans!
Well just the other day, I decided to play a variation of this game with Travis. I had him pick a car out of his piles of cars for each name I would state. For instance, which one is Lisa's car? and he'd pick one out. So here's the results for the Anderson family. The post below gives results for the Pippin family.
Vance's car (nice!)
Carla's car (Mom even likes maroon)
Stacy's car (I guess she's a State Trooper)
Lisa's car (can you tow me into town?)
Brian's car (at least it's not a van!)
Marci's car (actually a cool car)

I think that actually sounds like a fun game. I bet once our kids get a little older they would love it!!
What a fun game - I love it! We Fish Heads will have to give it a try on our next road trip!
