Update

We currently live in Los Alamos, New Mexico as of Nov. 2006.

Lucas is now 6 months old. Just last week he learned to sit up on his own! He has been teething for a while now and is just starting to show signs of teeth ready to break though. Lucas is a happy kid most of the time. He loves to smile at you and makes a lot of happy noises. He loves to be outside and watch his brother. His sleeping habits aren't so good as he's up on average 3-4 times a night. Lucas is starting to eat solid foods and likes sweet potatoes but not bannanas (go figure).

Travis is now 3 years old. He loves to play outside, throw balls, hit balls with his baseball bat, drive his cars and trains around and many other things. He's very active and is running all the time (kinda like Forest Gump always did). He does like to have his parents read him stories and he's still taking a 3 hour nap every day. He's also starting to learn how to use the potty, and has been successful a few times, but usually it's against his will.

Angela stays home with her boys and gets out of the house very often. She gets up at 6:30 every morning to go walking with some friends. She takes the boys to various play groups, parks, and to the library often. She knows how much her boys enjoy the outdoors and she doesn't disappoint them. In her spare time, with what little she has, she loves to read books (mysteries, fictional, religious, and other types). It's not uncommon for Angela to finish a book in one day (and often in one sitting). She keep the house in great shape and keeps all THREE of her boys in line. Angela is enjoying teaching a 7-8 year old primary class at church.

Brian just finished his PhD in Acoustics in Dec. 2006 from Penn State. He's now a postdoc at the Los Alamos National Laboratory for 2 years (a postdoc is the best way to make the transition from being a student to being a professor). Brian is in the Geophysics Group at the lab studying complex source reconstruction imaging using time reversed acoustics in solids. Brian is writing many journal papers and presenting at various conferences. He enjoys his job, but is anxious to obtain a faculty position. In his spare time he plays Nintendo Wii and has a hobby of creating stop animation movies (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=brianderson1), you ought to see Toy Car Race if you haven't already.
